Elder Scrolls Online Guide: Ebonheart Racial Skills

Ebonheart Pact is a faction in Elder Scrolls Online that’s made up of 3 races. These races are: Nord, Dark Elf, and Argonian. A very surprising alliance as the Argonians were slaves to Dark Elves for thousands of years and there is a long history of conflict between Nords and Dark Elves.

Each race has passive skills that reflect their nature. I’ll go over each skill in detail and give tips/suggestions on play styles they are best suited for.

Ebonheart Pact Races

Nord

Two-Handed Weapon Expertise – Gives a 15% experience boost to Two-Handed weapon skill line

• Unlocks – When you create a character. Nord Rank 1.

Robust – Increases Health Regeneration in combat by 5%.

• Unlocks – Nord Rank 5. There are 3 total ranks of the skill, each rank increases by an extra 5%.

Resist Frost – Increases Cold Resistance by 10 and Maximum Health by 1%.

• Unlocks – Nord Rank 10. There are 3 total ranks, each increases Cold Resistance by an extra 10 and Max Health by an extra 1%.

Rugged – Increases Armor by 2.

• Unlocks – Nord Rank 25. There are 3 total ranks, each increases Armor by an extra 2.

Nord Play styles – Good for stamina users/tanks. Also, people using two-handed heavily.

Dark Elf

Ambidexterity – Gives a 15% experience boost to Dual-wield weapon skill line

• Unlocks – When you create a character. Dark Elf Rank 1.

Dynamic – Increases Max Magicka and Stamina  by 2%

• Unlocks – Dark Elf Rank 5. There are 3 total ranks of the skill, each rank increases by an extra 2%.

Resist Flame – Increases Fire Resistance by 10 and Max Magicka by 1%.

• Unlocks – Dark Elf Rank 10. There are 3 total ranks, each increases Fire Resistance by an extra 11 and Max Magicka by an extra 1%.

Flame Talent – Increases Fire Spell Power by 2%.

• Unlocks – Dark Elf 25. There are 3 total ranks, each increases by an extra 2%

Dark Elf Play Styles – Great for people wanting to use both stamina and magicka skills. Also for people using fire spells heavily.

Argonian

Restoration Expertise – Gives a 15% experience boost to Restoration Staff weapon skill line

• Unlocks – When you create a character. Argonian Rank 1.

Amphibious – Increases Swim Speed by 50% and Potion Effectiveness by 5%

• Unlocks – Argonian Rank 5. There are 3 total ranks of the skill, each rank increases potion effectiveness by an extra 5%.

Argonian Resistance – Increases Max Health by 1% and Disease resistance by 7.

•  Unlocks – Argonian Rank 10. There are 3 total ranks, each increases max health by an extra 1% and disease resistance by an extra 7.

Quick to Mend – Increases Healing Received by 2%.

• Unlocks – Argonian Rank 25. There are 3 total ranks, each increases by an extra 2%

Argonian Play Styles – Good if you plan on using Restoration staff a lot. Also for healing or discovery by swimming.
