There’s no better way to start a survival game in Minecraft than with a nice village at spawn. In this guide, I’ll provide you with a list of the top 20 best Minecraft seeds with villages that appear at spawn or very close to it, including all other points of interest.

• Biomes: Various

Spawn at the foot of the mountain with three villages nearby at coordinates X: -144 Z: 192, X: 96 Z: 96, and X: 64 Z: -144. The latter one even has an ancient city underneath at coordinates X: 104 Y: -51 Z: -184. This is a great start for a survival game, especially taking into account the great diversity of biomes in this area.

Here’s the seed for quick nether access due to an exposed ruined portal near the acacia village at spawn. It also has a weaponsmith, allowing you to quickly craft weapons for your adventures in the nether. The plains village nearby may not have a blacksmith, but there are lots of farms, so you’ll never be out of food and other necessities.

I got lucky and spawned in the center of four villages that stand at coordinates X: 176 Z: -256, X: 144 Z: 112, X: -160 Z: -144, and X: -144 Z: 32. The latter one has both a blacksmith and an exposed ruined portal, which will take you to the nether’s bastion treasure room at coordinates X: -336 Z: 112. Altogether, you’ll be able to accumulate a significant amount of valuable items from this seed.

Spawning in a village or a few doesn’t always mean that you’ll be safe. In this seed, you get three villages at spawn, one of which has a blacksmith. But there’s also a pillager outpost, controlling the area at coordinates X: 32 Z: -256. This means that you need to craft armor and weapons as quickly as possible and try to destroy that pesky pillager outpost.

You’ll spawn at the base of the ring mountain with two villages, although one of them is a zombie village. But there’s also a jungle temple at coordinates X: 136 Z: 120, which will add some nice loot to your stash. I couldn’t find any ancient cities under the mountain, but I did locate a trial chamber under the badlands biome to the south of spawn at coordinates X: 233 Y: -30 Z: 345.

Spawn on the ocean shore amidst a lush diversity of biomes, such as plains, forests, taiga, beaches, and rivers. Here, I also spotted three villages, although one of them has only one house and one farm. The coordinates for all three villages are the following: X: 224 Z: -144, X: -144 Z: -144, and X: 128 Z: 112.

Here’s a village I never expected to find at spawn. It’s one huge acacia settlement, with over 20 buildings, standing on the hill. This area has several exposed mineshafts, so be sure to check them out. Also, try to visit a desert temple to the north of spawn at coordinates X: 152 Z: -728.

When I spawned in a taiga forest next to a small village, I knew I had to keep on searching. Fortunately, at coordinates X: 16 Z: -464 I found a double village next to a gorgeous cherry grove biome. This entire area is surrounded by a lush forest.

Savanna is one of my favorite biomes, and I was happy to find not one but two savanna villages at spawn. But that’s not it, as once I followed the river to the north, I discovered a third village at coordinates X: 304 Z: -416, which was a lucky strike for me.

Surviving in the desert can be really tough. But once you find a village or two, as is the case in this seed at spawn, then you can find joy in your survival. On top of that, I suggest you check out coordinates X: -408 Z: 200 for a desert temple and coordinates X: 584 Z: -216 for a jungle temple.

Spawning in combined biomes is always fun, especially if there are different types of villages. But there’s much more to this seed, as you can go eastward and find badlands or westward and find jagged peaks. On your way there, you’ll find a third village at coordinates X: -336 Z: -208.

One of the main reasons why I like taiga so much is that it’s always rich in trail ruins. Here, I spawned between the two villages in the old-growth spruce taiga biome and found two trail ruins at coordinates X: -301 Y: 67 Z: 35 and X: 19 Y: 73 Z: 243.

Double villages at spawn are very rare, but triple ones almost never happen. Well, it did happen in this Minecraft seed, for sure! Yes, they’re a bit spread out, but that’s how Mojang decided to generate villages in the new update. Either way, if you’re having a hard time finding all three villages, the coordinates are X: 144 Z: -144, X: 80 Z: 16, and X: -176 Z: 112.

Spawn between two villages, one of which stands atop a hill and another one situated in the lake nearby. To the north of the spawn, I found a mushroom island with an ocean monument at coordinates X: -280 Z: -888. While to the south, I discovered trail ruins at coordinates X: -285 Y: 64 Z: 291.

Here’s an example of another extremely lucky seed find. I spawned in between the two river villages at coordinates X: 32 Z: -144 and X: 128 Z: 16. But once I traveled a bit to the north, I managed to spot a third village at coordinates X: -256 Z: -288. But the way, a village that stands on the river has a blacksmith and a quick entrance into the cave system.

The two villages at spawn don’t look anything special until I noticed that one of them stands next to an extremely rare windswept gravely hills biome. More than that, I spotted an exposed ruined portal on top of the hills at coordinates X: 120 Z: 152. You can restore it, and it’ll take you straight to the nether fortress at nether coordinates X: 91 Z: 203.

Have you ever seen an igloo in the cherry grove biome? Well, I surely never saw one before I found it at coordinates X: -392 Z: -328 next to a meadow village and an exposed dripstone cave. This is definitely one of the more unusual seeds I’ve ever discovered, especially considering that the igloo has a basement in the warm biome.

Lastly, be sure to benefit the most from a peaceful double acacia village on the ocean shore at spawn. Although it may not be as peaceful as I thought at first, since I spotted a pillager outpost at coordinates X: -272 Z: 272. Well, at least there’s a ruined portal with a chest nearby at coordinates X: -312 Z: 120, where I could get some fine loot.
