How to Get the Bodycount Legendary Rifle in Dead Island 2

To get the Bodycount Legendary Rifle in Dead Island 2, you’ll need to complete the Redacted quest. This quest can be started at the quonset hut to your left when you enter the Military Barracks in Venice Beach.

There, you’ll spot a zombie with a unique name. He’ll drop a note once he’s dead. If you can’t find him inside the building, you may need to complete the campaign first, as can be the case with other Legendary weapons.

Your next tasks involve looking for three cargo shipping containers in Venice Beach, all of which have a clue that leads you to the weapon. You can refer to the map below:

Where to Find All Cargo Shipping Containers in the Redacted Quest

Container #1: Beach — 78

The first container (#78) is right at the beach. From the quonset hut, check the landing area where you’ll see a bunch of Burster mobs. You can hop on some crates to reach the nearby ledge, letting you drop down to an opening.

Container #2: Tower — 58

After getting the note at the shipping container, head to the radio tower to the northwest of the barracks. At the back of the tower in the same yard, you’ll find the next container (#58). Kill all the enemies here to open it and grab the note inside.

Container #3: Body Disposal Pits — 66

For this one, go through the radio tower, and take the far exit that leads to the disposal pits. Check the back and hop over the electrical discharge. Inside, you’ll find a crate that has the item. This completes the Dead Island 2 Redacted quest, netting you the Bodycount Legendary Rifle.
