Riot Bans Two More Pros

enVision from Mousesports and Linak from All Authority have both been banned from competing in the League Championship Series due to absurdly high report rates, after both have received multiple lighter bans and warnings.

Riot Games made people’s heads spin when they actually banned professional player IWillDominate of Dignitas from playing in League of Legends’s Season 3.  Now they’re applying the banhammer to two more professionals.

enVision of the team Mousesports is the first of the two pros receiving their ban from the League of Legends Championship Series.  He’s been reported in 29% of his matches, a number that Riot says is over six times the normal report rate, and even more tellingly earned over 400 reports in less than 150 games on his alternate account, JungleReject.  He’s received at least 18 punishments and two temporary account bans in the past, so he’s clearly been warned.

Linak from the team All Authority is the second professional finding himself banned from competitive play.  He’s apparently not as bad as enVision, only having a 20% report rate, but he has still been punished seven times, including a temporary account ban.

Both of these players are in the top .06% of European accounts in terms of bad behavior in-game reports.  Now that Riot Games has shown that the ban of IWillDominate was not an isolated case, here’s hoping that either more bans will get handed down from on high or more professional players will actually get the message.

Being good at League of Legends is not an excuse to be an asshole, guys.
