The almighty Game Director of Overwatch, Jeff Kaplan, has spoken out to let us know that defense sniper hero Widowmaker could be the next to feel the wrath of balancing. In a post over at the Battle.net forums, Kaplan explained that he and his team are currently experimenting with Widowmaker and want to ‘lower the frustration threshold’ of the character. Whatever lowering the frustration threshold means, it sounds as if Widowmaker will be the next hero to be balanced like D.Va and McCree.

It was recently reported that McCree and his ‘fan the hammer’ ability would be nerfed, while tank hero D.Va will be receiving a buff of some sort. A balancing patch is likely imminent and will likely be announced ahead of time on the forums by Kaplan himself.

What do you think ‘lowering the frustration threshold’ means? Is it a nerf or a buff? If it is the former, are you upset about your favorite hero becoming a victim of balancing? Also, what do you think of all of this reported balancing? Let us know in the comments below. Overwatch is out now for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
