Are There Missables in Like A Dragon: Ishin?

Find out whether you'll miss anything by zooming through the story in Like a Dragon: Ishin.

Like a Dragon: Ishin! serves as a fountain of fanservice for Yakuza / Like Dragon enthusiasts, with the latest remake of the spin-off adding more familiar faces to the cast. With so much side content between minigames and substories, Trooper Cards and Books of Revelation, completionists may want to know if there are missables in the Edo-period title.

Does Like a Dragon: Ishin! Have Missables? — Answered

You’re in luck because Like A Dragon: Ishin! has no missable content. Regardless of how far you push into the story, you’ll still be able to handle all the game’s substories and play the minigames to your heart’s content. Even if you’re right before the last boss encounter, you can wander off and play around with side content before finishing the game.

This is fairly in-line with the most recent entries to the series, as even Like a Dragon and Yakuza 6 have no missable content. Ishin! also has a post-game like most other titles in the series, allowing you to continue playing even after you’ve completed the story.

With this in mind, you can progress through Like a Dragon: Ishin! at your own pace, even choosing to take on substories and chase minigame achievements after technically clearing the game.

And that answers if Like a Dragon: Ishin! has any missables in its roughly 40-hour completionist run time. There’s lots more to know about this Edo-period alternate reality spin-off, though. Check out our growing list of Like a Dragon: Ishin! guides.
