FFXIV – Repeatable Fishing Leves Guide for Faster Leveling

You can (almost) always rely on a Fisher.
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

If you’ve been out and about fishing the levels away in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, it can be easy to forget that there are a number of fishing leves available to help you get a leg up toward level 50.

This guide is outdated as of the 2.1 patch! I will be fixing it all up once I can. Please check my FFXIV guide list for updates. Sorry for the inconvenience!

The fieldcraft leves available to Fishers are different from those of Botany and Mining in that they function much like tradecraft leves. You must collect the amount of fish requested and turn them in — and turning in high quality fish results in double the base experience, and then some.

While there are plenty of fishing leves available, this article/list is focusing on repeatable fishing leves. These adhere to the same rules as their tradecraft counterparts, sans the shard gains (and at times, aiming for leves of a lower level than your Fisher). You can check out the details on this whole process on my primary Repeatable Tradecraft Leves Guide.

All of the below leves are repeatable, and as such you must turn in the requested amount of fish three times in order to take full advantage of these levequests. Paired with high quality turn-ins, you have a ton of experience on your hands!

Often these fish can be found in the same region as the levemete!
