The International

The International is the Valve supported DOTA2 Competition that takes the sixteen most

talented e-sports teams and pits them against each other. The game has had a huge following since before the game was released when Valve held the competition at Gamescom 2011 in Cologne, Germany. Since then DOTA2 has had a huge e-sports following, allowing for a larger fan base.

LOL vs. DOTA2

Defense of the Ancients 2 has a pretty large rivalry with LOL players. The battle between the two has landed countless articles and many debates. This just shows the dedication and passion of DOTA2 players. From the sales to the comments, the game has shown to have countless fans and loyal supporters of Valve.

DOTA2, although being one of the newest games in the running, sure seems to have the most passionate fan base that I’ve ever seen. Smart marketing by Valve, the game has seen a huge influx of fans and they can only go up from here.
