World of Warcraft has many Community Managers, no doubt due to its impressive player base. One such manager is Jonathan Brown, also known by his forum handle Zarhym. Zarhym acts as a Community Manager for the US World of Warcraft forums and has been since June 13, 2008. Before becoming Zarhym, Brown posted under the handle Timbal, inspired by an item from the game.
Zarhym is active on both the WoW forums and Twitter and is prompt with responding to the community. Despite his forum avatar being a chattering skull, Zarhym is definitely not so morbid! Zarhym is known to most of the WoW players who utilize the US forums, and many questions are directed to him.
Zarhym won the very first “Community Manager of the Year” award at Dragon*Con 2012, and was part of the team at Blizzard that won “Best Community Management Team”. Zarhym is now up for the Dragon Slayer award for the same category, and if you’re a WoW player, you should surely vote for Zarhym!
