Previously from the Diablo III forums, Bashiok returned to work on World of Warcraft back in January, but according to some, has been there since before Mists of Pandaria launched.

Micah Whipple (his real name), has an NPC named after him in Exodar. Before his jump over to Diablo III he was known as Drysc on the forums.

Bashiok is seen as one of the most respected of all of Blizzard’s Community Managers; he has a huge following on Twitter–just short of 60k followers.

While Bashiok has had his issues following a slight outburst on the Diablo III forum, he later atoned for that by releasing exclusive information about the game, much to the joy of players.

Bashiok is a complex and interesting Community Manager, loved by players and the community. His nomination for CM of the year is well deserved.
