Have you ever wondered just how big the fantastically popular MOBA League of Legends is? Graphic Content, a new series being hosted on Machinima has the answers.
There are seventy million registered summoners (the name for League players) on the free-to-play game, for example. So much so, that if you made each of the seventy million players cocoa beans, you could make 175,000 pds of chocolate, as the video so dutifully points out.
In League of Legends you play as a summoner that controls a magic champion. With League being a battle arena, champions die quiet frequently, with estimates of the in game death toll reaching about 6.5 million. If you compare this to the real world birth rate, that means that for every birth, over seventeen champions die in game.
The video is well worth a watch, and I can’t wait to see what else Graphic Content decides to cover in the future.
