So I was at college all day, now I’m back and I’m like a bear with a headache.

A few days ago I brought out some news about the Gamestick. For those of you who do not know what this is, nor can be bothered to click the link, I’ll explain. The Gamestick is a small portable console, you plug into your TV to play android games. In essence its pretty darned remarkable, as its the size of a USB stick.

Those of you unfamiliar with this news are likely reading this post as if I have slapped you with a fish. I don’t deny the prospect of such amuses me, simply for the ideal of being able to scream at the top of my lungs:

“OMGWTFLAWLFISHSLAAAAP.”

Do you hear that? That’s the sound of me shifting back to the relevant topic. Booyah’.

So to breifly elaborate, and please imagine a rather posh British accent for the following:

“In indubitable circumstance, Watson, I would be pleased to note that with such miniaturization of technology, one would assume that by some set indefinite period in the future gaming consoles will be rather small. And with such insanely tiny devices the consumer will loose their teeny-tiny games all the time, and we shall make a profit on re-buyers, Muahahahah!”

I can get away with taking the piddle out of the British accent, I am British. Whats your excuse?

Here are some pictures of extremely small stuff I feel as a gamer may contribute to advancing technologies in gaming, regarding miniaturization.

This, is a tiny projector developed by Samsung. It projects things. That’s because it is a projector. And projectors project things. With projection. I hope I have projected my message about projection unto you fellows wishing to know what projection is, via my projected message about projection.

I just said projection ten times. Eleven now. Heh….

This is a Gamestick. I have been speaking about gaming and gamesticks regarding gaming because games are the gamesticks fortei as it is small and game-ey. To some extent I believe its small size is brilliant for gaming as it is portable and as you can see I am now making a game out of speaking of gamestick, gaming, and Games.

Twelve, Ive just beat my previous record. Sweet.

This is a Miniature Capacitive Relative Humidity Sensor. I could incapacitate you with a lecture on these long words that confuse me as they are beyond my capacity to comprehend, or even further take it to my capacity as a journalist of macabre sorts to explain to you that this Miniature Capacitive Relative Humidity Sensor was merely a Humidity Sensor with the capacity to relatively measure the temperature in the room.

There’s six repeats of the word Capacitor.

This is a miniature high frequency transmitter next to what I believe is three Cents in change. This is a transmitter capable to transmit short distances at 5MW of voltage, I would waffle further and attempt to see how many times I can convey the word transmit with transmittance and convey more, But I am merely a woof.

Five times, By the way.

I should not need to have to explain what this is. Also, ironic to photograph a camera.

This irony has not been lost on me. Hah… Heh…

Do excuse me a moment, the smallest of ironies is amusing me right now, I must laugh my ass off. On a similar note. PUN WAS INTENDED.

All the same. This does not look relevant to gaming at a first glance. Then you should if you have been reading or have kept in the know about gaming technology as of late, know of Kinect. The use of camera’s in game. The use of sensors in game controllers such as the Wii Remote. The use of transmission with wireless game pads, and the soon coming out Microsoft Illumiroom to bring projection into gaming for immersion.

It just makes me wonder, How long till all these tiny things are put into gaming.

How long until miniaturization comes to Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo?
