Watch Some Dude Play Through Ocarina of Time Blindfolded

Is it before or after you’ve played through a game blindfolded that you realize you’ve played that particular game a little too much? One man’s thirst for more of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time takes him on a dark adventure, one which he can’t see but he can certainly try to play.

Runnerguy2489 on Twitch.tv is a pro at Ocarina of Time speedruns. His channel is full of them, and his most recent run is something a little special. Instead of his normal special limitation-based speedruns, he is currently very slowly playing through the game completely blind.

Wall-caressing Extraordinaire

Relying on memorization and audio cues, Runnerguy2489 has been feeling his way through the game. He has recently gotten as far as the Fire Temple and is showing no signs of stopping.

Watching a guy ram himself into walls and use a gappling hook to feel his way around a room is entertaining enough, but the chat from the time the stream was live is also shown on the recorded videos. One of the best Ocarina of Time streams I’ve had the pleasure to watch.

I’m not saying you should watch a guy with a pillow case over his head fumble around in an N64 game, but I am saying that it just might be worth watching. You know, if you’re a sadist.
