New World: Best Weapons Tier List Guide

Bless your character with the best weapons in the game using this tier list guide to New World MMORPG.

There’s a considerable chunk of legendary weapons in the MMORPG New World, and it can be hard to decide on what you finally want to settle on once it’s all said and done. That’s where this New World weapon tier list comes in handy.

The weapons listed below have many unique features that you won’t find in any other weapon in the game, so you might just go an extra mile to get one or all of them. It could be worth it!

New World: S-Tier Weapons

Lifebinder

  • Type: Life Staff
  • Damage: 127-147
  • Critical Hit Chance: 2

This legendary life staff is the only one in the game that gives you two bonus attributes, such as Focus and Constitution, and an empty gem socket.

It also has three useful perks, including Blessed (10% healing bonus), Fortifying Sacred Ground (3% damage absorption bonus), and Mortal Siphoning (3% mana gain bonus).

This makes Lifebinder the most powerful life staff in the game that can heal both you and your allies, providing them with extra protection.

Axe of the Final War

  • Type: Great Axe
  • Damage: 200-232
  • Critical Hit Chance: 3

There aren’t that many legendary great axes in New World, but this one is the best of them all.

It has a highly effective Chain Fire attack that produces a string of flames that bounce off multiple targets, dealing damage to anyone it connects with.

You can also use it to fortify and empower yourself by defeating targets. These sorts of bonuses come in extremely useful when dealing with a whole group of enemies.

A-Tier Weapons

Hatchet of the Corrupted Frontier

  • Type: Hatchet
  • Damage: 154-178
  • Critical Hit Chance: 4

Stamina is one of the most important stats for survival in New World. Any type of gear that can generate stamina for free is a real gem.

This hatchet produces extra stamina for your character in two ways: when you defeat an enemy, you gain 5 points of stamina with a five second cooldown, and whenever you execute a successful Feral Rush attack, each hit will add another extra point of stamina.

On top of that, you have an increased chance to headshot using Hatchet of the Corrupted Frontier by 5%.

Scorched Earth

  • Type: Fire Staff
  • Damage: 139-161
  • Critical Hit Chance: 4

The selection of fire staves in New World is quite overwhelming, but there are two special qualities to the Scorched Earth staff that truly make it stand out from the rest of the pack.

First, it deals an extra 10% damage to all enemies that are at full health. Imagine that you’re using Meteor Shower on a group of fresh enemies that just appeared to send you to heaven, and you’re capable of dealing with them almost instantly with just one spell.

Second, it has the ability to produce mana every time you defeat someone, thus generating extra fuel for your spells.

Peaceful Chill

  • Type: Ice Gauntlet
  • Damage: 137-158
  • Critical Hit Chance: 3

Gauntlets may not be attract many players, but actually these little magical weapons can provide you with some highly efficient perks.

For example, Peaceful Chill has two different types of cooldowns: one reduces all ice cooldown times by 20% after each kill, and the other one, reduces all types of cooldown times by 5% after each kill.

Additionally, it contains a Chain Ice attack that freezes multiple targets at once, slowing them down.

B-Tier Weapons

Untrodden Path

  • Type: Sword
  • Damage: 156-181
  • Critical Hit Chance: 3

In addition to a 5% damage buff on all light and heavy attacks, this sword has an interesting debuff ability that transmits debuffs from your characters to enemies when performing Reverse Stab.

It also grants players a slight life regeneration after each kill, which is also quite useful. But as with all swords, it doesn’t have the power needed to smash big enemies like great axe.

End of Days

  • Type: War Hammer
  • Damage: 205-238
  • Critical Hit Chance: 2

War hammers are great for PvE but are not very efficient in PvP, where you need something much faster.

But other than that, End of Days could be a real smasher when it comes to landing those critical strikes. On top of that, you gain empower and fortify effects, if you manage to defeat an enemy with a critical hit.

And, if you execute a Shockwave, you also get the chance to apply Rend debuff on your enemies.

Travelling Storm

  • Type: Spear
  • Damage: 171-198
  • Critical Hit Chance: 5

Spears are a perfectly fine weapon in all aspects. They’re not overpowered, but have decent damage and reach.

But in case you want to increase your luck when looking for rare items, then Travelling Storm can help you a lot, as it increases your luck when opening chests or picking up items dropped by the monsters.

Hopefully, this tier list guide of the best weapons in New World was useful to you.
