One of the best offline adventures you can partake in with Minecraft Pocket Edition is finding the perfect little space of a world to create your living future! That future starts with your home, and everyone wants a mansion.

Building a mansion in Minecraft is a tall task, as it requires a huge number of resources, lots of hours, and a landscape appropriate for handling such a build. I’ve done the hard work for you already though, so here are five of the best MCPE seeds that you can use for starting your mansion, tested with the latest version 0.15.6.

Plains between two deserts for a nice mansion view

Seed: bbyyee
Biomes: desert, plain, river, savanna

This seed spawns you at an intersection where two deserts combine around a beautiful plain perfect for building your mansion on! Near the spawn are two desert temples that have chests scattered throughout them. These chests contain several enchanted books and assorted ore. There’s also a village blacksmith with a chest that contains:

  • 1 iron helmet
  • 1 iron pickaxe
  • 1 saddle
  • 5 apples

This is a great seed for anyone looking for flatter, scenic landscape to start their mansion on. The resources around you aren’t so shabby either.

Tons of desert chests to start your mansion project

Seed: SHIRLEY
Biomes: desert, jungle

Out of dozens of seeds that I’ve browsed through, this seed definitely contained the most amount of loot to give you a head start in creating your mansion. From the spawn, you can see a desert temple. Head to the desert temple and look around you, where two desert villages (with blacksmiths) should be visible.

One of those blacksmiths contain a chest with:

  • 1 iron helmet
  • 1 iron leggings
  • 1 iron ingot
  • 10 ink sacs
  • 3 apples
  • 2 breads

The other blacksmith chest, in the village right beside it, contains:

  • another iron helmet
  • 9 more ink sacs
  • 2 more apples

Remember that desert temple we used as navigation from the start? It contains chests holding:

  • 6 enchanted books (2 Fire Aspect I, 2 Feather Falling I, Projectile Protection IV, and Aqua Affinity I)
  • 31 bones
  • 29 gold ingots
  • 4 iron ingots
  • 1 iron horse armor

Take these resources, clear out some of that jungle for wood, and get to work on your mansion!

The flattest seed to build your mansion on

Seed: Roulette
Biomes: plains, forest, river

You spawn underwater with this seed, but emerge from that water and you’ll see some of the flattest plains you’ve probably ever come across!

There’s a perfect amount of land for you to begin construction of your mansion. Even better is that there’s a sizeable forest on the opposite side of the spawn that should provide you with enough wood necessary for your building. The forest isn’t obnoxiously large, but just enough for you to cut down and leave the land flat while having what’s necessary for your mansion. You don’t want all those trees blocking the view of your mansion anyway!

While there are no villages, chests, or other goodies right around the spawn, this is definitely some of the best land I’ve seen for beginning the development of your mansion project.

Flat snow land with a village and blacksmith nearby

Seed: TKFOUR
Biomes: river, ice plains, forest

Here’s some more beautiful and flat land to start your mansion on, except colder! You actually spawn on top a tree in a forest, but you’re immediately looking out over a vast ice plains.

Facing the ice plains, if you head forward and right, you’ll eventually reach a village. This village has a blacksmith chest containing:

  • 1 iron sword
  • 1 iron leggings
  • 1 iron boots
  • 2 bread

The real treat of this seed is the landscape though. These ice plains are very flat and perfect for starting off your mansion without having to move too many blocks. Behind where you spawned is a large forest that should provide an adequate amount of wood for your project.

Pick any biome to build your mansion on

Seed: deadbolt
Biomes: desert, extreme hill, forest, plains, river, savanna, swamp

In this seed, you spawn where desert meets plains and there’s a lot to explore and choose from for where you want to begin your mansion. Continue forward from the spawn until you see the savanna, separated by a river, and you should see a village on the nearby plains.

This village has a blacksmith with a chest containing:

  • 1 apple
  • 1 iron horse armor
  • 2 iron helmets
  • 1 iron ingot
  • 12 ink sacs
  • 1 saddle

I personally think the best place to start your mansion in this seed is over the extreme hills you’ll find behind the spawn. You’ll see an area there where lava is flowing, and anywhere near here is a great place to begin. It’d give a very scenic view of the top of your mansion coming from over these massive hills, and the area around you is relatively flat so nothing should really get in the way of your construction.

What do you think about these seeds? Which one is the best? If you have any of your own that are appropriate for building mansions, share them in the comments below!
