So for those that have been having trouble pinpointing Hunting Log monsters in Final Fantasy XIV, I have decided make a guide for them. Part one is covering Conjurer, Archer, and Lancer’s tier one entries. These entries span across Central Shroud, North Shroud, and East Shroud around Gridania. Some of these monsters spawn in multiple locations so I have tried to mark as many of the locations as I can remember.
Central Shroud
Central Shroud covers most of the log entries for the three classes. This puts the majority of the monsters in close vicinity of each other. So if you have all three classes going you can knock out all the entries pretty quickly.
North Shroud
North Shroud is considerably smaller than Central Shroud. Due to this difference in size North Shroud does not have as many target mobs in it. Some of the target mobs are also found in Central Shroud as well.
East Shroud
East Shroud to my knowledge only houses two targets in tier one. Northern Vultures and Tree Slugs are the two target mobs. Tree Slugs also can be found in Central Shroud, so if you’re already in Central Shroud it’s unnecessary to hit it in East Shroud
