Spin-off of the core series Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, previously available only on the PS3 and XBOX360, is now making its way over to the PC.

Hideo Kojima, the man behind the Metal Gear franchise, revealed this information in a podcast. One of the producers named Jean Pierre Kellams over at Platinum Games, the company responsible for making the spin-off, tweeted about his excitement over the port.

Nothing has been revealed so far about the port. It may or may not see additional content that the console versions did not have.

Most recently, the console versions of Metal Gear Rising saw DLC about a cyborg called Blade Wolf. If I had to venture a guess, I’d assume that the PC version will come with all of the console’s DLC at the very least, like in Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition.

I am stoked for the PC release. I’ve been meaning to pick up Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, but I will hold off until the PC port. Let’s just hope it’s a well done one.
