As the flagship game for Hi-Rez Studios, SMITE's gamers grow by the numbers every day. If you've never played, there's a good chance you've heard of it and your interest has already been peaked. Considering it is a free to play game, what do you really have to lose?
That being said, it's not necessarily an EASY game to jump right into and start dominating. That's where we come in! We've compiled a list of the four best channels to check out to learn SMITE, whether you're brand new to the game, or looking to beef up your play.
Incon
As a professional player, Incon has gained a lot of popularity for his SMITE play on teams such as compLexity, EnVyUs, and Team Allegiance. He is arguably one of the best SMITE support players, and produces a huge amount of content himself he shares with viewers.
He has a ton of content with everything from daily vlogs, to gameplay, to Patch reviews, tier lists, builds and general tips.
He uploads SMITE content to YouTube just about every day and streams on Twitch regularly as well.
dmbrandon
As a SMITE commentator and content creator, dmbrandon knows his stuff. Hi no-nonsense attitude tells it like it is, whether you like it or not. In his various videos, he'll take you through the proper steps to achieve greatness at your specific role, or help you understand certain mechanics you're struggling with. But be careful, his knowledge bombs will drop at you left and right.
He has a great set of coaching videos where he teaches someone a specific role, or even how to be a good commentator. What differs his channel from others that instead of holding everyone's hand he make sure you understand WHY you're doing every move you are. That way, at some point, you take the reigns for yourself, and dominate with your new honed skills.
dmbrandon streams regularly on Twitch and has a TON of coaching videos on YouTube.
SMITE YouTube
SMITE's own YouTube channel is actually a great resource for newbies to the game. You can watch as developers of the game explain certain aspects about the Gods, laning, and how to counter certain enemies.
Their tutorial playlist covers everything from the basics of jungling to gaming phases, to highlights of each and every God, whether you play them or play against them.
PolarBearMike
If you're more of an intermediate player, PolarBearMike might be right up your alley.
As a professional support player for Team Allegiance, most if Mike's video and streams are focused on the support role. His content spans through various support Gods along with rundowns from game patches.
While he doesn't necessarily do much explanation during this streams, watching someone play at his high level can help you catch on to certain tricks to bring to your own game.
PolarBearMike streams on Twitch and has a handful of videos on YouTube.
