Flinging your robot from one car to the next is fun, but it's not easy.

There’s a contest going on for Ferro: Robot on the Run, a robot arcade game for the Android.

The first person who can score 1,000 on Medium mode will get $50 from the creators of the game (paid through PayPal).

For most people, scoring even 389 is an accomplishment.

The winner can email the developers from the Google Play Store. There is one condition: you must submit video evidence of your victory. Naturally, the game makers don’t want a ton of bot-winning submissions to wade through.

If players are up to the challenge, they can download the game and start playing today. The contest will run for as long as it takes — and it will probably take a while.

Since Ferro is already a growing addiction for many people, a $50 incentive will probably be more than enough to push this game into widespread popularity.

Considering the difficulty of even getting a few hundred points, it’s not likely that anyone will actually be able to accomplish this goal — though the game makers claim to have done it themselves.
