An exciting new twist for PlayStation 3 owners: You no longer have to suffer through the console’s native PS Store. The Sony Entertainment Network web store is now available to residents of the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil. No more torture!
The SEN Store, which functions as an alternative to PS Store, offers a much easier way to browse and buy games for use on the PSP, PS3, and Vita; movies and television shows can be purchased for use on Sony devices, consoles, and the Windows-based Media Go application.
Sony does plan to add more functionality to the web site during later updates, including remote download queuing and being able to access the store from mobile devices.
Never again, PlayStation Store
The SEN web store layout is very similar to browsing through it on a console without the irritation of input lag when navigating each page, adding things to the cart, typing in terms for search, or finishing a “purchase” of free items and having to watch them all individually download and install.
I am never ever going to miss using the current PS Store layout.
