A Ten Minute Look at the New Tomb Raider

Lara Croft goes through some serious crap in this ten minute look at game play.

Though the graphics may still be a little chunky, Square Enix has put out this ten minute game play video to give us a brief look at some aspects of the game. From combat to environmental interaction (think waterfalls and molotovs), there’s a ton of action packed into this clip.

With release coming up on March 5th, the final bugs are being squashed and polished out. Tomb Raider will be available for the Mac OS X, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

From what I understand, the game has some really intense moments. This is a title I will absolutely be grabbing, but remember – it’s rated “M”.

If you’re buying this for a minor, here are some things you should be aware of:

  • This game has some pretty intense violence and gore.
  • There has been some controversy surrounding Ron Rosenburg’s, executive producer, claim of a rape scene. Crystal Dynamic has come out and said that there is absolutely no such scene, but rather one of “close physical intimidation.” Be aware that there may be scenes depicting sexual assault (or similar nature, depending on your interpretation) included in the release of the title.
