What time is it? Adventure Time! The show’s latest game, Adventure Time: Finn & Jake Investigations launched today, alongside a preview gameplay trailer to get the fans’ blood pumping.

The game follows Jake the dog and Finn the human as they discover a “tickertype” machine that belonged to their parents. When Magic Man starts it up again, it spits out a bunch of crimes throughout the Land of Ooo. It’s up to Jake and Finn to follow in their parents’ footsteps and solve cases!

Unlike the cartoon, the game tells the story with 3D polygonal graphics, while still bringing the same vibrancy as its 2D animated predecessors. It is the first Adventure Time game to do so. All of the original voice cast is also present.

There was one key issue pointed out in some reviews. If you haven’t watched the show, some features might leave you a little lost – like the fact that you will need to blow a person-sized bubble at some point and do other wacky things.

Overall, you’ll be stomping, jumping, and solving puzzles (and crimes) around the Land of Ooo. Talk to some of your favorite characters from the show and kick some serious bad guy butt. Don’t forget to check out everything and discover some secret areas, too.

Adventure Time: Jake and Finn Investigations is available today in North America in stores and digital download for PC, Wii U, PS4, XBox One, 3DS and others.

Fans in Europe should be expecting their own launch November 6th.
