Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Even More Gameplay

A New Trailer For Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

Today we get a new trailer for Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. This trailer was teased at the end of the last trailer a few days ago. I don’t know about you guys but I am already way too geared up for AC4, I’ve got my pirate hat ready and this wait is killing me.

once again we are narrated by Ashraf Ismail, the director of Assassin’s Creed IV, and he shows us some great things from the game. Early on in the video we see Edward take an assassination contract and then take chase after his target. Now we will be able to leave land and board our ship seamlessly with no loading screens.

We also see a bit more of the new upgraded naval combat. The new aiming system for the cannons is amazing, and much needed. Now with the upgraded ship we can grab hold of a swivel gun ourselves and open fire on the crew of a ship before boarding it, instead of commanding an underling to do it for you like before.

For all of my fellow OCD gamers out there they have filled the world with side missions and quests so that there is always something new for us to find or collect. There will be random battles going on throughout the sea that you can participate in or you can just stroll on by and let them kill each other.

There will also be new weapons like the berserk darts which will drive an enemy mad kind of like the poison from previous games except they attack anything in their sight, making them your ally as long as you don’t get near them. Luckily there are going to be a lot of ways to gain more crew members since this time around your crew members can die.

Overall this game looks amazing, the seamless transition from land to sea is super exciting to me. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be available on Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U on October 29th, with the PC, Xbox One, and PS4 launches scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2013. Feel free to pre-order now and get some special items for the game like the Captain Morgan outfit, strike the pose and set sail. “To Life, Love and Loot.”
