Bioshock; The Collection doesn’t let you stream from your consoles. But no one knows why!
The Collection released this week for PS4 and Xbox One along with all its DLC and souped up graphics — but what good is any of that if you can’t show it off? Neither console supports the ability to stream any of the included games and 2K posted a message on their board confirming that they are aware of this. However, they did not give an explanation as to why.
“Unfortunately, streaming BioShock: The Collection isn’t an option right now…”
Sometimes developers will be a halt to streaming on important cutscenes or certain pieces of a game, but shutting down streaming for a whole game (much less whole games) entirely is a new move. If you were relying on using built-in technology streaming technology for either console, gear up and find another way.
Maybe we can’t stream it because aliens are taking over the world and they’re starting with the console gamers. Or! Maybe the PC gamers have their own version of the Illuminati and are finding small ways to control console gamers. Insert your paranoid theory in the comments below.
