Blizzard releases new Worgen hero Jan 12th

Blizzard is starting to add a flavor of complexity to it’s MOBA, Heroes of the Storm. The newest addition to your collection of deadly combatants is Worgen Genn Greymane, the shape-shifting assassin. As you “Prepare to unleash your inner beast” Genn Greyman will have the ability to shape-shift between both human and werewolf forms.

Genn Greymane is from the World of Warcraft universe and is both a melee and ranged assassin. This is a little different than usual: champions usually are listed as melee or ranged assassin. Genn has the unique ability to switch between play styles. In his human form, Genn Greyman uses ranged attacks to dominate his foes. When he feels like getting in close and personal, Genn Greyman can transform into a Worgen, giving him a plethora of melee abilities.

Greymane’s play style relies on being mobile; he is able to quickly assist in team fights, rush to objectives, or flee from an unfavorable situation. The hybrid style isn’t one brand new to MOBAS. The advantage of this type of champion is utility, and he’s going to fit in well with a diverse variety of team compositions.
