A video game company by the name of Igrasil Studio posted their very first game on Kickstarter a few days ago. It’s called Bloody Chronicles, and it will be a mystery visual novel on PC, Mac, and Linux. It also appears that it is likely coming to Android as well, along with the Windows Phone.

The following information is on their Kickstarter page, along with the official website of the game, which gives information about it for anyone curious. Check out the quote below!

Bloody Chronicles is a visual novel and Igrasil Studio’s first project. The plot focuses on Kazuki, who has lost his parents in an accident. After graduating from the police academy, he was recruited by Igrasil, a non-governmental organization which solves murders the police deem are impossible to explain due to lack of evidence. Kazuki’s partners include the crazy and funny Ishikawa siblings, Kaoru Moriyama (the daughter of a millionaire and founder of the organization), and Suzumi, the head of the organization.”

The game’s studio is Japanese-based, but they appear to also allow Western territory members on the staff team as well. As this is a brand new studio, going straight for a visual novel could be considered rather ballsy, given that there are so many visual novels on Steam, where the game got Greenlit in a mere 4 days.

The gameplay preview below shows that the game will have English voice acting. The staff is trying to get Japanese audio as well, but they noted in the Kickstarter’s comments section it is costly to hire a localization team.

At the time of writing, they have raised $6,067 out of their $30,000 goal with 38 days left to go on the project.

Will you be backing this game? Or will you wait until it is officially out on Steam? Sound off in the comments!
