In the midst of all those now playing the vastly successful Pokemon GO, some are feeling left out — those who own Windows Phones. At the moment, the game is only available for use on iOS and Android, but there are currently no plans to make it available on Windows.
This has displeased many and, as a result, a petition has been launched on Change.org asking for Pokémon Go to developed for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile. As of writing this, the petition already has over 65,000 signatures and is increasing every minute.
Disgruntled Windows Phone-using fans have taken to Twitter to show their displeasure, even coining the hashtag #bringpokemongotowindowsphone.
How can you look at this crying Pikachu without feeling sorry for him?
Spare a thought for our poor Creative Director @Du1l who’s missing all the #PokemonGO fun due to his windows phone. pic.twitter.com/x3VHnRNH7M

Some have mastered the art of improvisation.

Others are even offering advice on improving productivity at work.
How to improve your productivity? Use a Windows phone, no Pokemon GO, no periscope, no snapchat = more times to work!

Many fans have followed Pokemon since the first game and TV show and feel that the fact that they can’t play Pokemon GO purely because of their choice of mobile operating system is unfair.
What do you think? Should Windows Phone users be able to catch ’em all like the rest of us? Let me know in the comments!
