One with any insight into the industry would immediately leap to the possibility of a graphic novel or comic book series based on The Witcher franchise, perhaps even bridging a gap between The Witcher 2 and The Witcher 3 (set to release in 2014).

According to IGN, there have been mutterings to expect “something truly special for fans of the fantasy genre.” Lending more fuel to the Witcher-based graphic novel fire.

A video teaser says to expect a full reveal at New York Comic Con on Friday, October 11. Fortunately I’ll be there, so keep checking back next week for a solid update as soon as the full project is announced.

What would you want to see in a graphic novel set in the amazing world of The Witcher? Sound off in the comments down below and maybe we can go take on some obnoxious Scoia’tael because they’re just so darn rude.
