COD Warzone Season 4 Update Buffs the FJX Horus

COD: Warzone Season 4 brings tons of content to the game. Besides the new weapons and notorious adjustments, the game’s developers tweaked many game modes and updated Warzone‘s ground loot, giving players up-to-date weapons to fight with their enemies. One of the most noticeable changes was a buff to FJX Horus, an underwhelming SMG that many players have ignored since it was added.

According to the COD: Warzone Season 4 update patch notes, the FJX Horus received many buffs, hopefully making it a better option for players who want to stay competitive at close ranges. Previously, COD: Warzone lobbies were full of players using the Striker 9 and HRM 9, but with these recent changes, that may change in coming matches.

The FJX Horus’s damage was improved in almost every aspect. Enhancing the weapon’s capabilities at all ranges, the developers also extended the FJX Horus maximum damage range from 7.62 to 10.16 meters. Damage multipliers were also increased, so players should deal more damage consistently when shooting at their enemies’ legs, lower torso, arms, and hands.

Even though the FJX Horus received many buffs, the developers added a few nerfs. The weapon’s headshot modifier was decreased from 1.4x to 1.2, meaning headshots will deal less damage. Besides this nerf, using the Lopper LX-D stock will have an added 3% ADS movement speed penalty. Another nerfed weapon was the XRK Stalker, so if you want to use the best sniper loadouts in Warzone, you should avoid it.
