Riot Games has announced they are making new skins to commemorate Taipei Assassins for winning the World Championship Final last year.

The League of Legends Season Two World Championship Final was a climactic event, and easily one of the biggest events in e-sports history.  At the very least, the two million dollar prize pool was something no one could turn their nose up at, and the event itself was dramatic and exciting.  When the full orchestra finished playing and the games were begun and the battles fought, only one of the two teams still remaining could walk home as the world’s best.  Taipei Assassins had proven their mettle to the entire world.

Now, to commemorate their victory, Riot Games has announced the creation of a set of skins for Taipei Assassins, with the splash art shown above.  From the looks of it, they’re taking some of the champions the Season Two champs were most fond of, most capable with, and played in the Grand Finals.

From the splash art we can expect Dr. Mundo, Orianna, Ezrael, Nunu, and Shen to get skins wearing Taipei Assassin’s colors and logo.  Congratulations once again to them, and I cannot wait to see how this season turns out!
