Creator of FF Tactics Launches Kickstarter – Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians

The ever so famous Yasumi Matsuno has launched a Kickstarter for his new game, Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians. Of course this game will fit into the tactics genre, but Yasumi Matsuno will be partnering with Playdek to get the job done.

So, what’s this game about?

As stated within the title, Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians, this game will be about the stories that have gone unsaid through a world named Rasfalia. This unfortunate fantasy land was driven through many wars, which have left the world in a type of ravaged fashion. The players will be in charge of learning about the Seventy-Seven years war, and going through episodes of every hero.

Gameplay

The game is turn-based with tactical war simulation RPG aspects that draw in the characters. While playing the game, you’ll go through different episodes that are the history of Rasfalia. Discover everything you can, and learn more about this unfortunate land.

Added into the game are professions and classes with characteristics to help players mold their gameplay to their satisfaction. Examples of the classes are: War Mage: Profession: Clergy, Ballast Knight: Profession – Noble, Polearm Knight: Profession – Pioneer, and Aerolest: Profession – Estate. Funding

The goal for completing Unsung Story: Tale of the Guardians is a whopping $600,000. If the $600,000 goal is met, the creators will expand from iOS and Android to the PC platforms such as Windows and Mac. If backers exceed the goal, more content will be added to the game to celebrate.
