Deadly Premonition is well known for having created quite a die-hard fan base, and being a little over the top—even for its genre. The Director’s Cut version of the game came out just last April (2013) . For those who are brave enough to delve even further into the surreal and dark world of Greenvale, it comes priced at $9.99, which includes:

  • Over 100 interactive elements and hidden secrets
  • Creator Hidetaka “Swery 65” notebook and learn how the game was made
  • Three interactive maps showing everything in the game
  • Never-before-seen concept sketches and high resolution art
  • Play with sound board or listen to the soundtrack

The sound board in the book includes 58 audio/visual files. The book won’t be out until October 14th, but if you need to get your hands on it you can find the pre-order here.

I'm a 29 year old Jersey girl who loves games. I currently work full time, volunteer part time at this awesome non-profit called Amman Imman, and go to school part time. I also train in jiu jitsu. So time isn't quite on my side (unlike that song says). I have been trying unsuccessfully for years to clone myself so I can devote one of me to boring stuff like working and laundry - thus allowing more time for gaming. I'm willing to offer large sums of imaginary money to any who can make this happen.
