Check out what you can get in the Doom Collector's Edition!

As some of you may have heard by now, id Software’s long gestating Doom reboot is set to release on May 13. For those like me though, you were waiting (and hoping) for a Collector’s Edition to be announced, complete with some awesome collectibles.

As you can see, id Software has done just that, and the CE will come with the pictured statue of the Revenant, one of Doom‘s various demon enemies. The figure, created by TriForce, stands at 12 inches tall and is made of “high-quality” PVC. In order to get the most accurate picture, the creators modeled the statue from the actual game’s files. Not only that, but the base is LED-lit, and anything that lights up is just automatically cooler. You can pre-order the CE for $120.

Now, here’s the bad news: that’s it. You get the statue and the game in a special metal case, but that’s all that comes in the CE. I find that to be a tad disappointing considering other CE’s in the past have included a statue and various other collectibles.

While the Collector’s Edition might be a little on the lighter side in terms of content, the statue alone may make this a worthy buy. Do you think this is enough to get you to buy the Collector’s Edition? Let us know in the comments.
