Amidst a press release on the success of the 3DS in 2013, Nintendo announced that Disney Magical World will release in North America on April 11th. Developed by Namco Bandai, the game was originally sold in Japan last July as Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life.
In what sounds like an adorable, community simulation game, Disney Magical World should appeal to fans of Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon. In it, players can grow crops, manage their own café, purchase a variety of Disney-themed outfits and mingle with Disney citizens. Nintendo’s press release also promises several Disney-themed worlds to explore and Disney character cards that players can collect throughout the game.
Brace yourself for the cuteness and check out the original Japanese trailer below.
Disney Magical World will be available April 11th in the Nintendo eShop and retail stores.
