Nephalem will be working overtime this weekend in Diablo III‘s adventure mode.  With the addition of Kanai’s Cube, crafting materials have suddenly become a lot more important (especially Death’s Breath).  Each of these special materials can only be obtained by completing all bounties in a specific act, after which players receive a Horadric cache from Tyreal.  As a follow-up to Patch 2.3.0 and to provide a leg-up in exploring Kanai’s Cube, Blizzard has announced that until Sunday, September 27, 11:59 PDT, rewards will inlcude an additional cache of loot.

Anyone who’s taken a look at the recipes for each of the cube’s functions had probably resigned themselves to lots of grinding for materials to use the cube just once, or searching for the last piece of Death’s Breath.  With the boost in effect, hopefully players will be able to stockpile them for a while.
