TT Games brings Marvel to the world.
This article is over 11 years old and may contain outdated information

Lego has been a household name for many years and their video game series is definitely catching up on that. My daughter absolutely loves the Lego series of games and is totally psyched Lego Marvel Super Heroes. She is already asking me to go and buy it for her, even though it has not yet launched.

TT Games Shows Lego Marvel Superheroes

I don’t know of too many people who are not familiar with the name Marvel, whether it be from the actual comic series or the movies that have spun off those books in recent years. The faces from those series are making their way to the Lego video gaming stage. Arthur Carson with TT Games said that there would be over 100 playable characters. A few characters that we saw in the demo included Iron Man, Wolverine, Spiderman, Johnny Storm, Thor, and Hulk.

Customization will be possible in this game like others in the Lego franchise. In this game, over the city will be the S.H.I.E.L.D. helicarrier where the player can customize their character. You can take Magneto’s helm and get Magneto’s powers and match that with Thor’s hammer and Thor’s powers.

What’s a Marvel universe without face offs? Every super heroes has their classic villain to face and Lego Marvel Super Heroes is no different. Spiderman versus Venom was mentioned in the E3 conference with Arthur Carson. Plus, add to that even more new face offs set by the design team at TT Games.

What About Launch?

Lego Marvel Super Heroes has a launch window of October 2013. This game will be available on multiple consoles as they want to bring the game to everyone. This includes:

  • Xbox 360
  • PC
  • PS3
  • WII U
  • 3DS
  • Vita

So everyone who loves the Lego games and wants to add this one to their collection, be sure to be on the look out come October!
