Fallout 4 will not have DLC that is timed-exclusive to any particular platform.
Bethesda’s Pete Hines answered the fan query on Twitter and confirmed that the game’s DLC will not come to a specific platform first.
@XxThe5sGuyxX we aren’t doing a DLC exclusive with anyone

This news will be music to the ears of almost every fan out there; timed-exclusive DLC doesn’t really benefit anyone, it just frustrates gamers. That being said, Fallout 4‘s MOD’s will come first to PC in 2015, then to Xbox One in early 2016, and finally PS4.
Fallout 3‘s DLC actually was exclusive to Xbox and Windows for a time but eventually made its way to PlayStation and other platforms. With that in mind it’s great to see Bethesda not dividing players or causing anymore online wars than already exists.
The install size necessary for Fallout 4 on Xbox One was revealed this week and caused a bit of a stir, but we don’t think it’s anything worth worrying about just yet.
Fallout 4 continues to be the biggest thing in the gaming world and you can be sure there will be plenty more stories and coverage of the game between now and its November 10th release date. Until then, stay tuned to GameSkinny!
