Running from Friday, April 15 through to Saturday, April 16, Overwatch will be having its second and final beta test weekend across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The aim of this weekend is to perform a stress test, so there will be plenty of opportunities to get in on the test. It is invite-only, so make sure you are opted-in!
Accounts will start to get flagged for testing on Thursday, April 14. If this happens to you, make sure you download and install the client as soon as possible so that you are ready for when the stress test begins the following day. Make sure you look out for either an email (although they can sometimes be a bit slow to come through) or an install button on your Battle.net app.
For this weekend, players will have access to all 21 heroes and the maps for Hanamura, Route 66, and Nepal. Some features, such as Competitive Play, will not be available during the stress test. Be ready to give feedback on how the game is performing and other technical issues. As it is a stress test, Blizzard is looking to push their systems to the limit, so there may be some performance issues — but that’s what they are looking for.
