The iconic Abbey Road Studios in London will be the setting for a live-streamed concert of music from Square Enix’s Final Fantasy XV on September 7.
Taking place at Abbey Road’s Studio One, this one-off special concert will be broadcast live for everyone to watch and features exclusive performances of the upcoming RPG’s soundtrack.
The music will be performed by the London Philharmonic Orchestra – whose “Greatest Video Game Music” album was an Amazon best-seller and charted at 23 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums in the US – and will feature an appearance from composer Yoko Shimomura.
Shimomura’s previous work on a huge library of over 45 games – including Kingdom Hearts – has received critical acclaim. Speaking about the concert, she stated:
“I am excited to be able to collaborate with Abbey Road Studios for this performance… I hope that music and video game fans around the world can tune-in and join me for this incredible experience”.
In light of this news, Abbey Road is offering 10 pairs of tickets to be won by lucky contestants to see the show in person:
