The first Pioneers of Olive Town expansion content is out now, with new costumes and a mystery to solve.

Marvelous is giving Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town an infusion of new growth with the first part of the Pioneers of Olive Town Season Pass available now. Part one adds new cat and dog costumes for you and marriage candidates, and it also introduces the Olive Town Mystery Files side plot.

No farmer can be a good detective without a snazzy sleuth’s outfit, so naturally, Mystery Files includes a new detective costume too.

The official description is light on what to expect, but it says Mikey and Cindy are determined to get to the bottom of mysterious events happening in Olive Town. It’s also the first of possibly more Mystery File scenarios.

Pioneers of Olive Town expansion pass part two releases sometime in May, adding a new area and four familiar faces from previous Story of Seasons games. More content drops are planned each month through August, and we’ve detailed what to expect from them elsewhere.

It’s good to see more sprouts poking through in Olive Town, as we found the base game to be a bit more barren than we’d hoped for.
