It isn’t just the US which gets in on the big gaming events. Gamelab, a Spanish non-profit organization founded in 2005, is passionate about creating events for people in the “digital entertainment space” to share and discover new idea and projects. The main event occurs every June, and is held at the Hesperia Tower Hotel in Barcelona. The dates for this year’s event is June 29 the to July 1st.
Given that the event attracts a lot of interest from around the Globe (particularly from the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, and the US), the event is primarily run in English but has Spanish translations running simultaneously in the main arena. For the 1000+ attendees representing 500+ exhibitors, it is a great melting pot of gaming enthusiasts from lots of European cultures and countries and is proving to be a real contender in the gaming events calendar.
