It has been a long time coming, but soon fans of the Sid Meier’s Civilization series will be able to get their hands on the latest installment, Civilization VI. On October 21st, the game will be available to download or to purchase in stores across the World.
Civilization VI sees lots of new features and improvements on past titles, including a unique district system whereby you create specific areas within city for things like entertainment and commerce, for example. There have also been 16 playable civilizations announced so far, each coming with unique buildings and forces, special leader abilities and unique civilization abilities (for more information on these, check out my guide!).
One of the more somber changes to this installment is the fact that there is now a new narrator for the game. For years, the voice of the Civilization series was Leonard Nimoy (Star Trek) but, as he is sadly no longer with us, the baton has been passed to Sean Bean (Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones).
For those who are eager for this release, you can pre-order the game now and receive early access to the Aztec civilization pack (the Aztecs will automatically be unlocked to players after 90 days).
