Fans of the anime series Ghost in The Shell got exciting news back in September that their beloved franchise was receiving a free-to-play online shooter. The game was set to be available on Steam and Nexon; however, it was unknown when fans could dive into the experience.
Well today we know. On December 14th, players will be able to “take to the streets of a futuristic Japan as Elite Section 9 Operatives” in an Early Access version of the game.
So you want to be part of the Early Access?
Here’s what you can do: sign up on the main site here and hope you’re selected for beta tests. Or for immediate access, Nexon America is offering “Early Access Packs” for purchase. These packs range from $4.99 to $29.99. Paying for the latter will net you an exclusive character skin for Major Motoko Kusanagi. You can purchase these packs through Steam or the Nexon launcher as well. Ghost in The Shell: First Assault Online is expected to make a full release on Early 2016.
What do you guys think of the game so far? Would you play it? Let me know in the comments below.
