Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams makes its début in Europe and Australia’s Wii U eShop on August 22nd. Although a US release date has yet to be announced, Black Forest games has given us something to look forward to.

Black Forest games created this game as a side-scrolling platformer for the Wii U. Since it is for the Wii U the game can be played on the gamepad. Giana Sisters also now has an “easy” mode to accompany its “hardcore” and “uberhardercore” modes.

The Steam version of the game is getting a new DLC in September titled Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams-Rise of the Owlverlord. This expansion has seven new levels, new music and an owl commander boss.

This may look like a cutesy, easy game but it is not that nice. In this game the players can warp Giana’s dreams to a nightmarish world of wonder and change her abilities and interactions. Players must use their speed, skills, powers and brains to defeat the evil in Giana’s twisted dreams.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams has already been released to PS3, Xbox 360 and Steam. Hopefully, we will get a release date for the Wii U for the States soon.
