C’mon, we know that deep down, you love Pokémon.
(Well, someone does, at least.)
The last Pokémon title, Black and White, sold over five million copies in the first three months of launch. And now Nintendo hopes to better that with another pair of Pokémon games: Pokémon X and Pokémon Y.
Nintendo explains that these new titles mark major changes with hand-held console games. The visuals and combat scenes take full advantage of the 3DS capabilities. As you can see in the video above, the battle scenes are designed to be more stunning yet still keep the feel of the original Pokémon games — very reminiscent of Pokémon Stadium from the Nintendo 64. (What? Yeah, I played it!)
Per usual, the game adds more creatures to the Pokédeck, tempting all the next Ash Ketchums. If you’d like to catch’em all, ready your Pokéball in October because these titles will release simultaneously world wide for only the Nintendo 3DS.
