Every gamer knows that when the holidays come so do sales. Steam sales are notorious for ripping apart the wallets of many a PC gamer. With the new wave of PSN sales, console gamers have a chance to experience some sweet deals, as well.
A new list of games will come out each week for the next three weeks on PSN, all for 33% off for non-PSN+ members and a sleek 50% off for those who do have the premium subscription.
Featured Titles:
Catherine: Now $27.99, $19.60 for PSN+
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive: Now $10.49, $7.35 for PSN+
Resident Evil 4: Now $13.99, $9.80 for PSN+
Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online: Now $10.49, $7.35 for PSN+
Three out of the four titles are likely to fill your cup with delicious salty years of frustration. Catherine’s frustrating puzzles, Counter-Strike’s headshots, and getting your butt handed to you in SF3 will get you a festive red with anger. Afterwards, kill zombies in RE4 to calm down.
If you’re looking for some good games to get your children for the holidays or even just to bring out your own inner-child, there are some more appropriate games to pick up on sale, as well.
Kid-Friendly Titles:
LittleBigPlanet 2: Now $13.99, Free for PSN+
LittleBigPlanet PS Vita: Now $24.99, $17.49 for PSN+
Rayman Origins: Now $13.99, $9.80 for PSN+
Rayman Origins PS Vita: Now $20.99, $14.70 for PSN+
If you plan on buying a large amount of the games on sale this week and the ones that will be featured the next two weeks, but you don’t have PSN+ account, now might be the time to pick one up. The cheapest option is $17.99 for three months, meaning that if you get LBP2 and Catherine, the subscription will have already paid for itself. Not to mention the fact that over the next two weeks there will probably be another handful of good games like LBP2 that will be free for PSN+ users.
Between Steam Sales and PSN sales, my pockets will reach a new state of emptiness never seen before. Thanks, Sony, for causing the end of the world via wallet implosion.
