Riot Games announced a contest for the holiday season for League of Legends fans with gastronomical inclinations back on December 12. Now that the Snowdown Showdown is finally over, we have our winners at last.
And our next challenge?
As impressive as these winning entries are, Riot already has its next contest ready for enterprising summoners. As they have done in the past, this one is an art contest.
Summoners are being challenged to take their favorite League of Legends champion and draw them using one of the new items introduced for Season 3.
Other than that, the rules are fairly simple, mostly specifying format. Teen-rated, so nothing sexual or graphically explicit, without any logos or product names (no product placement or advertising), and obviously must be made by the summoner submitting the entry on time.
If that prompt sparks your sense of inspiration, make sure your submission is 300 dpi, one dimensional, at least 3000 pixels in height and width, exported at a quality setting of eight or better. Submit your entry as a .jpg and cross your fingers!
Note: hang on to your full-size image, if you win they just might ask you for the highest-quality version of the image you have. Prizes include huge amounts of RP (15,000 for the grand prize winner) as well as tablets and displays, with every winner receiving some League of Legends merchandise for their efforts. Good luck, and have fun!
