NetherRealm’s upcoming fighter game, Injustice 2, may be getting a crossover character from their latest fighting game, Mortal Kombat X.

Suicide Squad members Deadshot and Harley Quinn are the latest characters to be added to the roster, but there is still plenty of room for more characters. On top of that, NetherRealm is known for adding crossover characters from movies and other games. Scorpion, for example, was included in the Injustice: Gods Among Us roster as a crossover character, so it’s highly probable that the sequel will include another crossover character as well. It could be any character from the Mortal Kombat series, but fans can count on an appearance from at least one of the characters.

Other exciting news is that Ed Boon has hinted that Injustice 2 may be getting a PC port. Keep in mind that this is only a hint, and the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions are the only ones to be confirmed. However, it’s still possible that the game will stream on PC, so PC players shouldn’t lose hope just yet.

An exact release date for Injustice 2 has yet to be confirmed, but it will be released next year for sure.
