I love mash ups as much as anybody and this one is no different. Fans of manga and anime can come together to enjoy this crazy mashup of characters duking it out. Be you a Dragon Ball Z fan or a Rurouni Kenshin type of person.

In celebration of Shonen Jump’s 45th anniversary, Namco Bandai will be developing J-Star Victory VS. In the style of more recent Naruto Shipuden, J-Star Victory VS is an open field style fighting game. With a cast of 8 Characters announced thus far from a variety of Shonen Jump series including:

  • Goku (Dragon Ball Z)
  • Monkey D. Luffy (One Piece)
  • Toriko (Toriko)
  • Naruto Uzumaki (Naruto)
  • Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach)
  • Himura Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin)
  • Gintoki Sakata (Gintama)
  • Kankichi Ryotsu (Kochira Katsushika-ku Kameari Kōen-mae Hashutsujo)

Namco Bandai Studios is developing the game and it’s set for release later this year exclusively on PS3 and PS Vita. However  no release has been announced thus far.
