While it might be a surprise to you, Wintory is excited to work on a Leisure Suit Larry game. Speaking to Polygon, he says it’s his fantasy to “work on a game like that”, being a long-term fan of adventure games.

The tone of Leisure Suit Larry is very far from that of Journey, but he claims to have experience writing “seed, back alley kind of stuff”.

Leisure Suit Larry in Land of the Lounge Lizards Reloaded was approved on Kickstarter earlier this year, and is currently awaiting approval on Steam Greenlight. Having been a big fan of the series when I was younger and a fan of adventure games in general, it’s more than a little exciting to see the original getting a revamp — and to hear Wintory’s take on the score.
